Natasha Gluzman has been our Metrowest shlicah this past year. Her family emigrated from Russia to Israel when she was a child and bat mitzvah was not an option in her community. On June 26, days before returning to Israel at the end of her U.S. stay, she was called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah. MAZAL TOV!

CBH Teens (and friend from Mishkan Shalom in Philadelphia) participating in
a TEL retreat at Camp JRF in the Poconos, May 14-16, 2010.
Tel is the Hebrew word for an archeological hill, and JRF is using the word as an acronym for Teens: Experience and Learning. This program is an experience for our teens to have the opportunity to "dig" through first-hand, life-centered, experiences and "sift" out new, meaningful educational gleanings that are personally relevant to their lives. CBH Teens participated in the first year of this program, and will be continuing next year, in addition to adding a new class. Registration is open to all CBH teens in grades 8-10.

CBH held a spectacular gala on January 23rd to honor its founding members, Shirley and Bob Max. After HaMotzi with Rabbi Amy, there was lots of great dancing and dining! CBH president Katia Segre-Cohen also announced that the building's lobby was being dedicated in their honor.
