A Land Twice Promised Tickets

The featured performance is A Land Twice Promised.  Noa Baum, an Israeli who began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in the United States, weaves together their memories and their mothers' stories. She creates a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

Join us for a wonderful, rich afternoon of storytelling with Noa Baum, Jewish author and storyteller.   At Congregation Beth Hatikvah, we strive to create community – not just within our synagogue but also beyond its walls and out into the local community.  Noa focuses on the power of stories to heal across the divides of identity and build bridges for peace.  Her stories, drawn from diverse cultures, her own Jewish heritage and personal experience, highlight our similarities, celebrate our differences, and encourage curiosity, awareness, and acceptance.
