2010/5771 High Holidays

The High Holidays will be here soon! We are delighted to invite you to join us for the High Holiday services this year! We have planned a rich and varied program of worship and study, with engaging activities for kids.

We welcome our members and visitors. There are three different forms: members, first-time visitors, and returning visitors - please choose the appropriate form for your registration. If you have any questions, please call our office at 908.277.0200 and speak to Andrea - she will be glad to help.

Yizkor Memorial Booklet

Every year we honor our loved ones who have passed away with a Yizkor Memorial booklet distributed on Yom Kippur. The on-line registration forms have a section for you to enter your yizkor information.

Children

Our family service, designed for younger children, will follow regular services on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur this year, from 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. We will again provide children's programming during the regular service on Rosh Hashanah day 1 (Thursday, September 9) and Yom Kippur (Saturday, September 18) for children in grade K-7 and babysitting for pre-school and younger children. There is no organized program for young people in Grade 8 or above; they are encouraged to attend the adult services and participate in breakout sessions and other programming for adults. The Youth Program registration is part of the on-line forms. Please see the youth program description for more information.

Donations

High Holiday observances are an expensive undertaking. Any additional monetary support is sincerely appreciated. It will be used to help defray custodial, printing costs, and all the other incidentals required to make the High Holidays a rewarding and spiritual time for the families of our congregation and our guests. There is a space to indicate a donation in the on-line registration form.

Dues

We would like to remind you that attendance at the High Holidays is a benefit of membership – for members there is no fee. Please check that your membership dues payments are up to date.

B'shalom,
Michael Hyman
