During Shabbat Shuvah (The Shabbat of Turning would be one way of translating) it, we played with Pete Seeger's famous song, Turn, Turn, Turn, to explore Ecclesiastes' idea of the fullness of life and of the rightness of every feeling and every ambition, in balance and in it's proper time.  Here's the CBH version of the lyrics:

Chorus:
To everything turn, turn, turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose, under heaven

A time to believe, a time to fact check
A time to feast, a time to fast
A time to remember, a time to forget
A time to see, a time to be blind

A time to spend, a time to save
A time to save, a time to spend
A time to wander, a time to be still
A time to work, a time to rest

Chorus

A time to believe, a time to doubt
A time to judge, a time to be tolerant
A time to be truthful, a time to pretend
A time to say sh’ma, a time to not say shma

A time to protect, a time to unveil
A time to search, a time to hide
A time to text, a time to call
A time to help, a time to get help

Chorus

A time to wonder, a time to accept
A time to reflect, a time to act
A time to study, a time to play
A time to work, a time to play

A time to forgive, a time to protest
A time to talk, a time to listen
A time to be silent, a time to be heard
A time to whisper, a time to shout

Chorus

A time to listen, a time tune out
A time to start, a time to stop
A time to give, a time to take
A time to sleep, a time to wake

A time to itch, a time to scratch
At time to create, a time to destroy
A time to have chocolate, a time to have a lot of chocolate.
