Women's MultiCultural High Tea

Sunday, September 15, 2019 15 Elul 5779

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The event grew out of the vigil held following the New Zealand tragedy when our community came together to support our Muslim neighbors. Several Jewish and Muslim women decided to organize A Women's Multicultural High Tea to provide an opportunity for women in our community to come together, socialize and cross social and religious barriers.

The multicultural high tea will be an amazing gathering of women from all walks of life, coming together to find common ground and build bridges within our communities. Assemblywoman Mila Jasey will be one of the speakers. A delicious variety of snacks will be served. Come with friends, make new connections and have some serious fun!

We will be showcasing beautiful artwork, handcrafted jewelry, scarves and other wonderful items made by local artists and craftswomen. This is a great opportunity to buy gifts for friends, loved ones or for yourself.

SOMA Action's Religious Justice Committee is the primary sponsor of the event. Co-sponsors include CBH and the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom.

The event will be held at The Woodland in Maplewood.  Admission is free; please register here.
