The Pioneers of CBH
Congregation Beth Hatikvah was founded by 27 households. Most had been members of the Reform synagogue in Summit, Temple Sinai. Within the next year, our membership increased by 50% as we were joined by an equally enthusiastic group of charter members. Although the inevitable impacts of time have taken some of our original comrades from our midst, many of them are still active members today.
